Who can apply to receive items?
Families in the Lakeshore area who need support providing summer activities and essentials for their children. Applications open April 1st through our Facebook group or by calling (519) 555-SUMMER.
Can I donate used items?
We only accept NEW, unopened items in original packaging to ensure quality and safety for all families. Gently used items can be donated to local thrift stores!
How do I volunteer?
Join our Facebook group and watch for volunteer callouts! We need help with sorting donations, distribution day, and fundraising events. Contact us at volunteers@summersanta.ca
Are monetary donations accepted?
Yes! E-transfer to summersanta@lakeshore.ca. We use cash donations to purchase items families request that we don't have in stock. Tax receipts available for donations $20+.
What sizes of clothing are needed?
All sizes from toddler to teen! We serve families with children ages 0-17, so any size is greatly appreciated. Please ensure items are new with tags attached.
How can businesses get involved?
We love corporate sponsorships! Host a donation drive, sponsor a family, or make a bulk donation. Contact partnerships@summersanta.ca for sponsorship packages.
